Mobile COVID-19 Testing in St. Charles Parish
Hahnville, LA – St. Charles Parish, in conjunction with Access Health Louisiana and the National Guard, will begin to deploy mobile COVID-19 test units to ensure all residents have access to testing. The first mobile site will be on Friday, May 15, 2020, at the Killona Community Center from 9 a.m.-11 a.m.
Residents must present a valid Louisiana license or I.D. and need to be 18 years or older.
“Testing is a vital component of reaching each phase of reopening and we want to ensure everyone has the opportunity to be tested,” said President Matthew Jewell. “As we begin to reopen, residents need to keep in mind that this is not an all-clear. We must still be diligent in protecting those that are most vulnerable to severe cases of COVID-19 and ensure we are following CDC recommendations.”
Additional mobile testing sites will be announced early next week and will include the following areas: Ama, Hahnville, Montz, New Sarpy and St. Rose.
Testing will continue at Hahnville High School Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
