The St. Charles Parish Registrar of Voters Office is closed until further notice due to COVID-19. For more information about the office closure, click here.

Additionally, the St. Charles Parish Registrar of Voters Office has announced that the Secretary of State has rescheduled the April 4, 2020 election for June 20, 2020.

May 20 – Last day to register to vote or make changes in person or by mail
May 30 – Last Day to Register to Vote Online at
June 16 – Last Day to request Absentee by Mail Ballots
June 19 – Last day for Registrar to receive voted Absentee Ballot
June 20 – Election Day (Polls Open 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.)

The Registrar of Voters office will continue to accept voted absentee ballots that were mailed or emailed for the previous April 4th Election date. We will continue to process any Absentee Ballot Request submitted to our office.

Please note: Anyone who request a ballot will receive a ballot with the election date of April 4th. A letter will be provided with the ballot from the Secretary of State’s office explaining the situation and that the ballot with the April 4th Election date is valid for the June 20, 2020 Election. The ballot information has not changed.
